This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Business Systems Integration team (BSI team) and specifically the implementation of In-App Guidance using WalkMe software, layered on top of various Red Cross applications. This is a remote (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. The BSI Team is an inward facing agent working to establish a rich culture of supporting volunteers (mainly disaster responders) who are encountering challenges in using Red Cross applications such as RC Care, RC Respond and RC View.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete free self-study training for WalkMe software
- Participate in project planning discussions for individual WalkMe projects
- Work with Technical Training Mangers to build WalkMe layers on top of Red Cross software applications (mostly for disaster apps like RC Care and RC Respond)
- Gather input from Regional Application Support Team (RAST) volunteers regarding wording to be added to screen prompts, tips, and other WalkMe features to assist users
- Help with proofreading, testing, evaluating, and getting application owners to sign off on completed WalkMe projects
Required:
- Experience creating forms, surveys, or reports from a database
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, OneDrive and SharePoint
- Experience using digital/online tools to onboard employees/volunteers, improve productivity and streamline processes
- Good written and verbal communication
- Good writing skills, including grammar, spelling, sentence structure, proofreading, etc.
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
