Democratism seeks Outreach Volunteers to build connections with activists working to stop climate change. Volunteers will join a team building connections with advocates and activists working on gun violence, racial justice, immigration, the climate emergency, voting rights, economic fairness, abortion rights, LGBTQ issues, and others issues that depend on improving our democracy.

Applicants should be prepared to:

  • Develop an understanding of the organization’s mission and outreach objectives
  • Attend a weekly internal meeting via Zoom
  • Research the structure and mission of other organizations
  • Communicate with other organizations and their members via email and in one-on-one and group meetings.
People of all backgrounds and identities are strongly encouraged to apply. Because the position involves speaking as a full stakeholder in the US election system, applicants should be either living in the US or US nationals living abroad.
