ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Are you in school with a focus on becoming a teacher or going into education? This volunteer position will give you the chance to learn valuable skills within your chosen field!


The Education Program Intern will work with student groups, educators, and park rangers at the Birthplace and Knob Creek Visitor Centers, Memorial Building, and other locations within the park as well as the local community. Spring, summer, fall, and winter openings available!


The Intern will assist the park Education Technician with content creation, lesson plans, planning special events, and other content and materials. They may also perform interpretation frontline duties such as staffing the information desk, and guiding family programs.
