Join our team at Chiricahua National Monument! We’re excited to recruit volunteers to serve as campground hosts for the 25-site Bonita Canyon Campground. This facility is located at an elevation of 5,400 feet in an oak-pine forest area situated along Bonita Creek.
Timeframe for this opportunity is April-June, 2023, but can be extended depending on volunteer interest. Volunteers work 32 hours a week, with a schedule of 4 days on and 3 days off. Trailer or RV length limit is 29 feet .
Volunteers need to be physically able to walk up to 1 mile a day. Duties are mostly completed outside. Spring is the busiest season with the campground filled nightly by people with advanced reservations. See our weather chart to review average high and low temperatures throughout the year.
