Hackensack Meridian Hospice, a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health network , is now accepting student volunteers ages 18 and up who are looking for an unpaid experiential learning experience . References and service hours will be provided after completing 50 hours of service.
Volunteers gain valuable healthcare/counseling experience by providing bedside companionship to patients suffering from a life-limiting illness. Hackensack Meridian Hospice provides service to patients wherever they call home throughout Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, and Union Counties; therefore, reliable transportation is required. Visits are typically 1-2 hours once a week based on your availability. For more information, contact Hospice.Volunteer@HMHN.org.

Our longevity reflects our excellent and sensitive care for patients including Veterans and individuals of diverse orientations, backgrounds, financial status and diagnoses. A member of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, we are a not-for-profit organization which serves patients who reside in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, and Union Counties. The time and talent that volunteers give helps Hackensack Meridian Hospice provide compassionate and quality care to our patients and families.
