ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

DISCOVER, PLAY AND VOLUNTEER at beautiful J. Strom Thurmond Lake for the 2023 season. Located near Clarks Hill, SC on the GA/SC state line are endless recreation opportunities. Join Park Rangers assisting visitors to experience that southern hospitality feel at campgrounds and day use areas. Campground volunteers will check visitors in/out, perform cleaning duties and light maintenance. Day use operators will greet visitors while promoting the Water Safety program. All are welcome to apply. Service hours: 20 hours single/ 34 hours couples. Volunteer sites have full hookup with picnic table, grill, and fire pit. Laundry facilities available.
