When disaster strikes, Best Friends Animal Society reaches out to affected animal shelters to assist in various ways. We've helped transport animals out of harm's way, we've provided food and clean water, animal crates and helped with volunteer recruitment. But if the contact info we have on file for the shelter is not up to date, precious time is lost trying to find the right info.
Our Emergency Response Dept is looking for a team of volunteers to verify shelter data in disaster prone states. We want to correct the info NOW, before we're in an emergency. Our staff will provide call scripts and everything you need. Please note, some weekday, daytime availability is required!
