Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice, a faith-based non-profit, is looking for an administrative/office volunteer for our office in Willoughby. We rely on our volunteers to help keep the office running smoothly so that we can continue to provide the best care for our Home Health and Hospice patients. Flexible schedule. Daytime hours.

The ideal volunteer would help us with:

  • Mailing
  • Filing
  • Inventorying office supplies, medical supplies, PPE
  • Creating informational packets for patients
  • Helping answer office phones, taking messages or transferring the call to the appropriate person
  • Making copies, scanning
Volunteers must pass a drug screen, background check, and will be provided initial and ongoing training necessary.

We adhere to the current CDC guidelines for COVID-19, and any PPE you would be required to wear will be provided to you.

Medicare also recognizes the importance of volunteers in the delivery of hospice care. Medicare requires that hospice utilize volunteers from their local community to augment the care the hospice agency provides. Nationally, over 100,000 people serve as hospice volunteers and give millions of hours of their time to serve terminally ill patients and their families.
