We have volunteers specifically for research and outreach. The processes and software have already been set up and tested.

We are seeking a Research Intern Manager to take over (and potentially improve) the processes.

The duties include:

  • Review Application Responses of Research Interns and decide whether to hire them or not
  • Perform hired setup for Research Interns
  • Run onboarding meetings for Research Interns
  • Make sure Research Interns complete surveys and check-ins for the end of 1st week, 1st month, 2nd month, 3rd month, 6th month, 9th month, and 12th month
  • Offboard Research Interns
  • Support Interns and assist when needed

This will require about 5 hours of unpaid volunteer work each week for a minimum of 6 months.

Volunteers make up a major vein of a nonprofit organization. As a new nonprofit, we want to make sure that we are bringing the right volunteers onto our team and that we are empowering them to be successful. A Volunteer Manager will help find, onboard, and engage our volunteers.

This will become a paid position once we receive funding for it.
