Travel on our donation pickup (DPU) truck with a certified driver to assist with loading & unloading donated items.
Supervisor: Our certified driver, Jack, will act as your immediate supervisor. It is up to his discretion who will assist him. Miranda, our volunteer Coordinator, will assist with any scheduling questions and volunteer hours tracking.
Commitment: The DPU truck leaves at 9am and gets back around 4pm. Driver assistants are not required to spend the entire day out on the truck. If you need to head out after one or two loads, you may do so when the truck returns to the Clark County Habitat Store, but you must be prepared to not know exactly when you will be back.
Location: The donation pickup truck begins each day at the Clark County Habitat Store at 10811 SE 2nd Street, then goes all throughout Clark County to collect donations from residents and businesses.

Description
Through volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent homes with the help of the homeowner. Habitat houses are sold to families at no profit, financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments are recycled into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.
