Share the rich natural and cultural history of Fire Island and the William Floyd Estate with visitors. Seasonal volunteer opportunities include providing school groups presentations, nature walks, administrative assistance, social media, minor maintenance, gift shop sales, attending off-site fairs and assisting with citizen science projects. The Otis Pike High Dunes Wilderness Visitor Center site is open year-round and is accessible by car. The William Floyd Estate is open seasonally and also accessible by car. The Sailors Haven and Watch Hill sites are open seasonally and accessible by ferry from Long Island or private boat.
