Hattie's Rack is a thrift store that supports the work of HELP FROM HATTIE, a nonprofit organization. Hattie's Rack is in need of volunteers for her weekend shift from 1p-6p and Thursdays from 11a-4p. Minimum of 4 hours each day if the entire shift can not be covered.
Tasks vary from day to day and include sorting donations, price inventory, cleaning the store, organizing the store room, and packing bags for outreach donations. On occasion, laundry helpers are needed.

We would like the volunteer to be interested in working with us n a long-term basis, we consider our volunteers part of our family. 6months to a year is ideal and shifts can change based on the volunteer's schedule or needs.

Description

At Help From Hattie, we engage with community members to assess needs and provide the services and items they need to achieve optimal living. We conduct community health assessment days, fairs, and family fun events like bowling, relays, and community meals. We need assistance making posters, filling nags with supplies for the public, sign-in sheets, and any social media savvy folks to spread the word about our work. If you love people and want to have a great time join our team.
