Come help unload and prepare food for students at the Cypress College Food Bank.
Volunteer on Tuesdays from 1:30-4PM.
Volunteers need to wear closed toed shoes, sign a volunteer waiver and volunteer checklist, lift at least 15 lbs, and be 18 years or older.

COVID has impacted the ability of many Orange County residents to acquire food. Pathways of Hope is a nonprofit organization that serves families and individuals throughout North Orange County. For 48 years Pathways of Hope has been providing food, shelter and support and prevention services to the hungry, homeless and marginalized through assistance of local congregations, volunteers, businesses and grants from foundations and government agencies.

Description
Pathways of Hope is committed to rebuilding lives of the hungry and homeless in Orange County through Housing, Outreach, Prevention, and Engagement. Once a family or individual has become homeless, the path back to stability can be very challenging. Pathways of Hope offers several housing options to fit different situations, all with the goal of helping families and individuals re-gain permanent housing as quickly as possible. Pathways of Hope operates a resource center, the HUB of Hope, which offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals in Orange County. - We are seeking volunteers who can commit to a weekly shift and who want to make a significant impact on our participant's lives.
