Positivity Outwrd is an app-based mentorship program for underserved or underrepresented youth, such as low-income, rural, or Latinx high school students. Our mentees receive guidance for academic, career, self-discovery, mental health, and life skills goals from typically college-aged mentors.
We are hoping to strengthen our social media presence so that we can recruit more mentees and mentors, while also offering valuable tools and resources for self-discovery, mental health, and life skills. We have a social media strategy, content, and plan, but we need help creating the visuals, engaging with followers, and posting the content on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Our organization centers empowerment and connection, so we work hard to support our volunteers' personal and professional growth.

Mission Statement
Positivity Outward empowers youth to be successful and well with near-peer mentors.
Description
Through the Positivity Outward Mentoring App, youth connect to mentors just ahead of their life stage. The mentors guide reflection and action in college and career preparation, life skills, self-discovery, and even mental health. Our mentees choose the mentors they need, create an individual support network, and achieve their unique goals. Our vision is for every youth to have the confidence, self-awareness, and self-management skills needed to find and follow their passions.
