Environmentalists Needed!

Tracy Earth Project works with the City of Tracy to encourage them to meet the Sustainability Action Plan goals that the City set in 2008. We need individuals who are passionate about the environment and are willing to attend City council and other commission meetings to let our voices be heard. Volunteers may also attend meetings with the City Manager or other staff to share our goals with them and see how to help the City move forward on the goals they set for our environment. Volunteers may also one day help with petition signing and other organization to advocate for the Earth to our City. Advocates need to live within the Tracy community.

Tasks may include:

• Writing letters/emails or leaving voicemails for city and state officials
• Writing letters to the editor for the Tracy Press
• Attending City Council meetings to voice environmental concerns
• Attending other City Commission and Committee meetings to voice environmental concerns
• Attend meetings with TEP and City officials on environmental concerns
