URGENT NEED! Prepare and pack bags of food for students in need

Backpack Brigade has expanded our operation considerably due to increased demand throughout the region. We end weekend hunger for kids by delivering bags of food to schools across the county, and we need your help. Do something for the most vulnerable in our community.

Our 2023 program kicks off MONDAY, JANUARY 16TH.

We are especially in need of long-term volunteers!

Please consider volunteering during the following ongoing shifts:

• Monday through Thursday: Prepare food from 8:00 am to 11:00 am

You and our team of 100+ weekly volunteers will help pack or prep 4,500 bags of food for kids to fill their bellies all weekend long.

With short advanced notice, we will certainly be able to accommodate you.

We also offer one-time group opportunities on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 2:00, Thursdays from 2:00 to 4:00, Friday's 10:00 to 12:00, and 12:00 to 2:00. Reach out to schedule.
