Deliver food to students in need

Our program is hitting the ground running by packing and delivering 4,400 bags of food to students struggling with food and housing insecurity over the weekend. WE NEED YOUR HELP! So sign up to become a Backpack Brigade delivery driver Thursday mornings during the school year. Every Thursday morning, more than 50 volunteers arrive in their own cars, seats down and covered, to take our bags to one, two or three of the 96 schools we serve. Our loaders handle all the lifting. You'll open the trunk, get a clipboard with your route and head out. Every driver starts and ends their route at our warehouse on 1st Ave. in the SODO district of Seattle. Shift time: Thursday mornings. Arrival 8:30AM to 10:30AM, total time no more than 2 hours. Location: 1729 1st Ave S. Seattle, WA 98134 How to volunteer? Pack bags of food for struggling students

Backpack Brigade is in full swing, delivering weekend-hunger relief to over 4,300 students every single week and we need your help! We have two new permanent shifts we're actively recruiting for: Monday, 12:00PM - 2:00PM Steps to volunteer: 1. Pick a day. M-Thurs 8am-11 or Mon 12-2pm 2. Email me (nichelle@backpackbrigade.org) your choices and I'll slot you in as early as the week of :) You and our team of 100+ weekly volunteers will help pack and prep at least 700 bags of food every day for kids to fill their bellies all weekend long. Pack Meals for Food Insecure students

There truly is no better time to volunteer! Our program is hitting the ground running packing and delivering 4,400 bags of food to students struggling with food and housing insecurity over the weekend. -- and we need your help! Please consider volunteering during the following ongoing shifts: Monday through Thursday: Packing bags or prepping food from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Each day, we need 10 volunteers packing bags and 5 stocking shelves. Steps to volunteer: 1. Pick a day. Monday-Thursday. 2. Pick a task. Stocking, packing, driving, or loading cars (Thursday only for the final two) 3. Email me your choices and I'll slot you in as early as the week of :) You and our team of 100+ weekly volunteers will help pack and prep at least 700 bags of food every day for kids to fill their bellies all weekend long. We also offer one-time group opportunities on Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:00, Friday's 10:00 to 12:00, and 2:00PM to 4:00PM. We're always on email so please don't hesitate to reach out.
