The Salvation Army of Winter Haven is seeking volunteers to assist with their food pantry. Volunteers will help to stock pantry shelves, unload pantry deliveries, look for damaged or spoiled goods, and prepare food bags for weekly distribution. At the end of each day volunteers will assist with removing trash and with ensuring areas are cleaned. Volunteers should wear comfortable but appropriate clothing. Closed toe shoes are required.
The Salvation Army of Winter Haven's Social Services Center helps alleviate food insecurity by providing food for the residents in East Polk County.
