Say "hello!" to a reception opportunity with the Red Cross. In this position, you will play an important part of welcoming donors and helping them through their donation experience.
Blood donation is a very vital part of the Red Cross. As a Blood Donor Ambassador, you will become a helpful source for our donors. Everything from assisting with initial intake and creating/maintaining a clean, comfortable area, to expressing gratitude to our donors when the process is complete. Blood donors look to our ambassadors for information and next steps throughout their blood donation process.
Our blood donor ambassadors typically volunteer for one or two shifts per month (5 hours shifts). This position provides flexibility and the opportunity to gain reception experience, all while making the blood donation process a positive and welcoming experience for our donors.
