We are looking for an energetic, self-directed, and organized Patient Advocacy manager to coordinate the management of HHP Patient Advocacy workshops. The Patient Advocacy Workshops Coordinator will be tasked with a) Scheduling of workshops with workshop presenters and other team members b) Setting up the workshops in Zoom in the case of online workshops c) Managing the promotional plans in collaboration with the marketing team d) Managing follow up communications with and the support of workshop participants e) Analyzing workshop outcomes and metrics and sharing them with HHP team members. You will play a pivotal role in growing the reach of our organization and connecting with thought leaders in the patient advocacy and patient education community.

Ideal candidates for this position should be creative and web savvy. Ultimately, the outstanding Patient Advocacy Workshops Coordinator should have a firm grasp of the life cycle of small online and offline events, be comfortable with coordinating, and understand the importance of maintaining organized records.

Patient Advocacy Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Work with team members across HHP to determine future workshops
  • Manage the recruitment of patient advocacy workshop volunteers
  • Lead team calls agreeing deliverables with team members
  • Liaise with the tech and marketing teams in relation to the release and promotion of workshops
  • Lead follow up communications with and the support of workshop participants
  • Analyze workshop outcomes surveys and metrics and create reports and share them with the team and HHP leadership with recommendations

Patient Advocacy Workshops Coordinator Requirements:

  • Understanding of the patient advocacy and patient education landscape
  • Thorough understanding of small online and offline event/workshop coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Firm grasp of business communications etiquette.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies.
  • Broad knowledge of best practices related to small online and offline workshops.
