AHOPE Day Center

This opportunity connects volunteers/staff with those experiencing homelessness. We believe that housing is a basic human right and we are working towards our mission to prevent and end homelessness in our community through permanent housing and support. AHOPE is where our community members come for some basic assistance like mail services, shower and personal item storage services, as well as, a meal from 8-10am in the morning. We utilize our volunteers to help replenish food, hand out and sort mail or to pass out toiletries at our hospitalities.
We have relatively flexible shifts and would ask that people stick to a schedule whether it be a certain day each week, every other week, or once a month. We appreciate the time that our volunteers commit to our day center and want to make it as rewarding as possible.
