Education Program Assistant

Volunteers who serve as education program assistants will help with supervision of children on park field trips. They may stand and walk along with the group, and they will keep an eye out for safety issues, as well as help improve the social emotional learning environment by chatting with the students. If they are asked to lead a breakout group of students, teachers and chaperones from the school will be placed in the same breakout group. The volunteer will need to have a government background check and hold a current PIV card.
