Volunteers are needed to assist in sewing classes for refugee women adjusting to life in the U.S. The program includes a mix of women at various levels of sewing and crochet - some are new beginners and others have an extensive history of sewing. The sessions are meant to be fun and connect refugee women socially as well as to teach them a skill to make products they can sell or use in their family. The classes will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 to 2 at our Phoenix office at 2502 E University Drive.
