We are looking for volunteers to help with the adoptions of our cats and kittens at the shelter and at our adoption center inside the PetSmart in Quakertown. This would involve helping with the adoption contract paperwork and reviewing it with the adopters. It would also involve delivering the cats to their new homes and doing a home visit at the time of adoption or possibly just taking the adopted cat to his or her new family. The time involved will vary week by week as it will depend on the adoptions we have. The adopters would be within an hour or less of our shelter which is located in Allentown, PA.

Mission Statement

Itty Bitty Kitty, Inc. is a non-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3), cat rescue organization and shelter that is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, stray and unwanted cats or kittens.

Description

We adopt our cats and kittens by way of our website, www.ittybittykittypa.org and also by hosting adoption events at the local PetSmart stores and our shelter in Lower Macungie Township.

Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed or neutered, brought up to date with required vaccinations and tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. We keep all cats and kittens in foster care until a home is found for them.

Our philosophy is being kind to animals helps build a better world for everyone. Through the generous support and donations from individuals within the community, we can ensure that any cat or kitten that comes into our care will receive the best of care and never have to worry about being alone, hungry, sick or in danger again.
