When you adopt a meal, you are offering your generosity to people experiencing homelessness and those transitioning out of it. You will be invited to bring a bounty of food on-site and serve meals for our shelter guests and permanent residents. We have two buildings that receive meals: the 510 Board and Lodge, and the FCC Shelter. This is for groups of 4-6 people, 14 years and older. Whether it’s you and your friends, family, co-workers, or club members, you have a few options:

1. Provide and serve 48 meals @ 810 S 7th St, Minneapolis, MN 55415
2. Provide and serve 108 meals @ 510 S 8th St, Minneapolis, MN, 55404
3. Provide and serve 156 meals total at BOTH locations

This could be lunch, served at 11:00AM, or dinner, served at 5:00PM.

810 S 7th St is for the FCC Shelter, primarily pairs/couples staying together.

510 S 8th St. houses our permanent residents (men and women), as well as our male shelter guests.

Both of these locations are downtown and would be grateful for your contribution. You would cook/acquire the meals, deliver them here, and then you have the option to serve the meal.

Please keep in mind that we do not require background checks for our shelter guests, as that would create a barrier, meaning we accept people from all kinds of backgrounds and circumstances. We also run our shelters 24 hours a day, which impacts the number of people picking up food during mealtimes.
