Help Veterans and their families rate their patient experience by joining us as a TruthPoint Survey Volunteer! Volunteers are needed to assist patients and their family members in completing inpatient satisfaction surveys.

Survey Volunteers will use an iPad or other device to help patients/family members to answer the 16-question survey including additional break out questions depending upon responses.

Ideal Volunteers will:

  • Have good verbal communication skills and be able to talk to patients/family members explaining the purpose of the visit and the patient satisfaction survey.
  • Be able to hold a 7" x 10" tablet and use finger or stylus to complete answers on the electronic device.
  • Be able to read 12-point font on the device.
Volunteer shifts are available between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Volunteers in this role are required to wear a medical face mask and face shield while conducting surveys on inpatient units.

With current OSHA and VA safety policies and procedures during the COVID pandemic, all Volunteers are required to wear a medical face mask when in the facility. VHA Directive 1193 and VA Handbook 5019 requires that Volunteers in this role have a documented COVID-19 vaccine and Flu vaccine.
