One Community is an all-volunteer nonprofit sustainability think tank. Our team is global and we do all our work virtually. We're seeking a Master Carpenter to help review and give feedback on the dormer window designs we've created for installation as part of these open source geodesic City Center Designs:

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Master Carpenter or equivalent window framing experience
  • 5-10 hours of availability over the next few weeks
  • SketchUp experience is a bonus but not required

ABOUT THE STRUCTURE

The Duplicable City Center is a 4-story open source dining hall and recreation hub designed to service 200+ people and function as the center of eco-humanitarian villages to be built globally. When complete, this will be the largest open source construction in the world.


ABOUT THE TASK

We need help reviewing the dormer window designs we've developed for the domes. They are designed already in SketchUp, intended for DIY assembly, and will be used for all windows on the 1st and 2nd floors of the structure.
