Position Title: Special Events Coordinator
Reports to: President and Program Manager
Overview: SaludConTech is looking for a talented and motivated Special Events Coordinator who will be responsible for organizing unforgettable events and developing a digital health ecosystem for communities of color. The Special Events Coordinator will work with other members of the event planning team to manage and coordinate our upcoming events. You and your talented team will be in charge of the planning, organizing, marketing, and executing of the event.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations
- Responsible for answering and directing emails
- Emails invoices and materials when appropriate
- Schedules events/programs and creates a yearly events calendar
- Works with the Special Events Committee and SaludConTech Program Manager to develop and maintain a budget and overall plan for all events
- Communicates and meets with sponsors, members, and venues as necessary to discuss event specifications
- Manages venue selection, layout, set-up, speakers/special guests, entertainment, and presentations
- Secures sponsorships, donations, and contributions for all events
- Prepares agendas and schedules for current and potential events/programs
- Works with staff to develop all necessary marketing and advertising materials for events/programs
- Proposes new ideas to improve current events and develop new events/programs
Education and Experience:

- Experience in marketing, mass communications, or a related field
