Ayude a estudiantes a prepararse para el GED en español. La biblioteca está solicitando voluntarios hispanohablantes bilingües de 18 años o más para proporcionar ayuda de tutoría de matemáticas, lectura y escritura en español. Los tutores deben estar bien preparados y enfocarse en las metas de los estudiantes. Tener experiencia en tutoría de preferencia. Se requiere un compromiso de 2 horas por semana. Description
Multnomah County Library is the oldest public library west of the Mississippi River, with a history that reaches back to 1864. As Oregon's largest public library, Multnomah County Library serves nearly one-fifth of the state's population with a wide variety of programs and services.
The mission of the volunteer program is to engage community members in enhancing the services that Multnomah County Library is able to provide online, at library locations, and in the community. Volunteers are engaged throughout the organization including at all of our 19 libraries and our outreach programs.
