Healing children one story at a time.

CAC is collecting gift cards to give to client families this holiday season! Giving families gift cards allows them to feel empowered and included in the gift-choosing and purchasing process. This also allows families to choose the most appropriate and best gifts for their children.

Our goal is to collect enough gift cards for 50 families in our Forensic & Advocacy Services program, Safe from the Start program, and Family Support Services program.

Gift Card List: (preferably in denominations of $50 & $25)

  • Walmart
  • Target
  • Amazon

Gift cards can be mailed to: CAC, 640 Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates, IL 60169, or sent electronically to tkanara@cachelps.org by December 16.

Mission Statement

The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County is the leading resource to empower and heal abused children and prevent violence against children. We serve 38 communities in the Cook County area and see over 1,000 children and their families each year.

Description

Welcome to the Children’s Advocacy Center of North & Northwest Cook County. CAC provides free, healing services to children who have experienced abuse, allowing them to process trauma and reclaim their childhoods.

The goal of CAC is to provide a multidisciplinary approach to severe physical and child sexual abuse cases. CAC recognizes the special, unique needs of child victims, while demanding accountability for the crime of child sexual abuse and severe physical abuse.

A 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, CAC is a fully accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance. CAC provides all services free of charge in both English and Spanish.
