We are Furvivors Wonderland Horse Rescue & Farm Animal Sanctuary
We are in our third year of successful rehab, rescue and rise of at-risk horses. We open our barn yard to all farm animals in need.

We are 100% volunteer operated and donor supported. We are in a great stage of growth. The need for horse rescue and sanctuary is growing faster than we can fill the need. We are so busy with 'boots on the ground' that the need for an assistant barn manager is now necessary.

The Assistant Barn Manager is needed 3 days a week, minimally. Each shift is approximately 2 hours each, morning and each night, approximately 10 hours a week, to start. More hours are always available and welcome.

This will be an in-person, volunteer position. We will be 100% transparent in asking that only serious candidates reply with the intent to commit to this task.

The following are required:
· Horse experience is necessary; work with rehab horses is a plus
· Attention to detail and strong organization skills are required
· A willingness to be part of something rewarding
· Drivers License & Reliable transportation
· Understanding of farm duties and barn chores
· Ability to lead others and facilitate orientation days
· Interest in helping an organization achieve fulfill its mission and meet goals

We have many great things in the works for Furvivors and we look forward to adding this role to our Furvivors Family.
Please forward all inquiries to us via this post or email us directly : rescue@furvivors.org
Thank you.

Mission Statement

WE BELIEVE IN SECOND CHANCES We rescue horses in unsafe, neglect, abandoned and at-risk situations. It is our wish that they never get on "that truck". Whether it’s rehab, training, medication or even humane euthanization, we are accepting the challenge. Our mission is to aid these FURvivors so they can have a second chance at a better life, or a first chance at the life they never had in the first place.

Description

Furvivors opens the barnyard to all animals in need, in turn educating humans through their stories. Animals offer a compassionate approach to healing that no other treatment can offer. We offer services to area veterans, troops, organizations, students and families in need of therapeutic recreation services with horses and farm animals.
