The Community Deputy Representative will be knowledgeable about Soldiers’ Angels programs and policies and will assist the Community Representative with providing Soldiers’ Angels program support to service members, veterans, caregivers, and their families.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Community Representative in the recruitment, retention, and recognition of volunteers.
- Assist planning special events and coordinating the distribution of goods and services.
- Outreach within the local community.
- Coordinate delivery of Soldiers’ Angels programs with the CDCE committee and appropriate VA staff.
- Track Soldiers’ Angels programs, volunteer opportunities, and donations.
- Assist tracking national campaigns (donations Girl Scout Cookies etc.), to include picture requirement.
- Attend weekly meetings with staff manager.
