Utilizing personal social media accounts, volunteers will aid in Facebook group management and community creation to help generate and boost Facebook based fundraising. Providing this community management will help the Red Cross social fundraising team continue to meet donors where they are at and educate otherwise un-reachable Red Cross supporters.
Responsiblities:
Represent the American Red Cross in November Dog Walking Facebook Challenge by posting personal content of participation (i.e., photo of walking dog, photo of walking in general, screengrab of steps with fitness tracker) Respond to comments and/or questions within the Facebook Challenge group such as how do I log miles, Is this a real challenge?, Do I have to have a dog?, Do I have to fundraise?, I have not received my premium item yet, etc. Contribute to and aid in the creation of a positive and encouraging digital experience for participants in the grow by addressing concerns quickly, commenting on participant posts in a positive manner, removing any scam posts from the group, etc.
Qualifications:
Required:
Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
Have a Facebook Profile
Strong customer service and writing skills
Preferred:
Dog you can walk weekly for content
Willingness to share personal challenge achievements (share mile updates)
