Reports To: Executive Management Team
The purpose of the Education Council (EC) is to identify issues, needs, and opportunities. When identified, encourage community engagement to develop and implement solutions to maintain and improve community education. The EC communicates reliable and accurate information to ECCL leadership and residents to make informed community education decisions.
The Education Council Chairperson (ECC) is a volunteer providing leadership to EC members to assist and, where possible, enhance the local, high-quality education facilities, programs, and services provided to meet the educational needs of students in greater Estero. The Chairperson develops relationships with individuals/organizations interested in improving community education to strengthen community planning and execution.
Responsibilities of the Education Chairperson:
- Provides leadership and support for member activities
- Decision Maker Formulates policies and planning recommendations for the Education Council members and guides courses of action.
Experienced teachers and administrators are encouraged to reply.
