Reports To: Health Council Chairperson The Environmental Health Committee chairperson is tasked with identifying and proposing strategic initiatives for environmental health that will foster good health outcomes. Understanding Environmental health will help meet the wellness and treatment needs of our community The Environmental Health Committee will develop relationships with and interact with individuals/organizations currently involved and interested in supporting such efforts. The organizations may include but not be limited to Lee Health Coconut Point (LHCP), Lee County Public Health, Florida Public Health, Lee County Schools, Blue Zones, FGCU Water School, FGCU, and Medical and Nursing schools Responsibilities of the Committee: Continue to recruit committee members Hold meetings as needed Report on Health Council meetings COO Executive Management Team (EMT) Communicate activities Maintain an ECCL web presence Be prepared to brief at monthly members meetings Write articles for publishing ECCL E-blasts and GECR Local and community newsletters Recruit guest speakers for members meeting for awareness Coordinate with other ECCL Councils Environmental Education Culture & Recreation Findings and recommendations Data Gather and analyze Environmental Health data Connect health professionals to provide speakers for community visits Work with Blue Zone Measure results

Reports To: President The Chief Membership Officer (CMO) is a critical member of the ECCL’s Executive Management Team (EMT) and oversees member-related activities, supporting recruiting, problem-solving, and retaining members. Responsibilities: Responsible for member recruitment Promote the value of ECCL membership Answer general membership inquiries; respond to member/non-member information inquiries and other requests for assistance Attends area events and activities explaining the benefits of the ECCL Presents and speaks at HOA, business, and Not-for-Profit meetings upon request Skills: Comfortable making an engaging conversation with potential members Enjoy nurturing ongoing relationships with member leadership Articulate and comfortable picking up the phone and calling people, following up on lapsed memberships, and responding to inquiries Comfortable making presentations

Reports To: President Policies should reflect solutions. The overwhelming scientific consensus is that we all need to drastically improve emissions to improve and prevent the worsening effects of climate warming. Negative effects include water quality decline, sea-level rise, extreme weather patterns, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, droughts, fires, economic decline, severe public health crises, and increased resource scarcity. The purpose of the Environment Engagement Council (EEC) is to serve as the voice of the residents of greater Estero to improve environmental quality. Fighting for what's right and striving to right what's wrong, it seeks opportunities, offers solutions, challenges threats, and monitors local, county, and state government environment performance. It communicates reliable and accurate information to ECCL leadership and residents to make informed decisions and encourage community engagement, Collaborating with local, state, and national organizations and other conservation organizations, the ECC will be active in many issues that affect greater Estero's environment, including but not limited to: Improved water quality Improved air quality Mitigating the effects of climate warming Leadership Responsibilities: Inspire members Mentor members Develop members Build relationships Decision maker Lead change Think critically Communicate clearly
