Join the Green Crew as a Youth Blogger for Environmental Change!
Are you a high school student passionate about the environment, conservation, and climate change? The Green Crew is looking for FIVE enthusiastic youth bloggers to join our mission of making a significant impact on our planet.
Position: Youth Blogger
Topics: Conservation, Environmental, Climate Change, Green Crew Projects, Green Crew Leaders
As a Green Crew blogger, you'll play a vital role in:
- Writing thought-provoking articles (500-1500 words) on critical environmental issues
- Attending our monthly conservation project day on the third Sunday from 1-4
- Building awareness and support for our science-based conservation and environmental service efforts
- Developing your writing skills with mentorship and support
- Gaining experience as an environmental advocate
No prior writing experience is necessary. We'll provide the mentorship and support you need to succeed.
Time Commitment:
- Minimum 500-1500 word articles per month
- Monthly conservation project day attendance (third Sunday, 1-4)
By becoming a Green Crew blogger, you'll not only gain valuable writing experience but also contribute to the critical work of our youth-led science-based conservation and environmental service. You'll be part of a community of like-minded youth committed to making the world a greener and healthier place.

The Green Crew's mission is to lead the adventure of "saving the world." The Green Crew is a youth-inspired and youth-led environmental action organization. Our conservation service projects provide youth the hands-on experience in meaningful action to make the natural world healthier.
Description
Launching in January 2022, the Green Crew is a unique collaboration between the Izaak Walton League and the BSA venturing program. We sponsor 1 or 2 environmental adventures per month. These adventures have been designed, planned, and implemented by youth. Adults serve as consultants and advisors.
