Do you want to change lives? Don’t look further, join our team of volunteers as a Virtual GED Instructor!

Help native and non-native speakers gain the skills they need to pass the GED exam! When individuals earn their GED, they have the power to lift themselves out of poverty, find and keep sustainable employment, and ultimately CHANGE THEIR LIVES.

GED Instructors are responsible for: instructing a class of 10-25 adult students in Math, Science, Language Arts and/or Social Studies, developing and delivering lesson plans based on the assigned curriculum, and providing a positive and supportive learning environment.

Each class focuses on one subject area per class term. Class terms last between 8 and 10 weeks. The preferred instruction time is during the evening.
