When individuals learn how to speak, read, and write in English, they have the power to lift themselves out of poverty, find and keep sustainable employment, and ultimately CHANGE THEIR LIVES. Classroom Assistants provide support to the lead teacher and facilitate small-group activities. They are vital in helping our adult students improve their English skills and learn about the American culture. LOCATION: Columbus Metropolitan Library | New Albany Branch TIME: Tuesday and Thursday 6-8 p.m. Other locations and times available. Check out our other volunteer opportunities!
