Reiki energy is a wonderful support for hospice care patients. We are looking to bring this newly created volunteer opportunity to our caring organization.
Energy therapies such as Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, and Healing Touch use healing energy to provide comfort and relaxation to patients and help relieve anxiety and pain. When used in conjunction with clinical interventions, these can lead to a higher quality of life and enhance patient-centered care.
Energy Practitioners must provide proof of certification.
Caring Hospice Services serves patients throughout Middlesex, Union, and Ocean Counties.

Description
Many times caregivers and patients can experience feelings of isolation; either because they are so consumed with caring for their loved one, or because friends and family may find it difficult to be around someone facing a terminal illness. Trained Hospice volunteers can offer emotional support to both the caregiver and the patient throughout this difficult time.
Our program includes volunteers in both a patient care and in an administrative setting.
No previous experience is necessary. We provide all the training you need and we will work around YOUR schedule.
