Event Day Volunteer - Komen Bloomington/Normal MORE THAN PINK Walk

This Fall, community members will gather together to celebrate the strength and resilience of all people affected by breast cancer while also raising vital funds to help Susan G. Komen invest in groundbreaking breast cancer research AND provide real-time assistance to help with treatment, medication, transportation services, and so much more.

Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the MORE THAN PINK Walk.

From helping us Set Up the expo area to distributing water along the course, there are plenty of ways for individuals and groups to get involved!

  • Fri Sep 05, 2025 - 12:00 PM to 05:00 PM CST - Spots available: 9
    Volunteers will assist with staging and/or placing event barricades, setting up tables, setting up water stations and placing signage and banners.
  • Sat Sep 06, 2025 - morning / 06:00 AM to 10:30 AM CST - Spots available: 10+
    There are many ways to help on event day: Water Stations, the 'We Remember' tent, and more!
  • Sat Sep 06, 2025 - morning / 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM CST - Spots available: 10+
    Tear down race course and expo area. May include: taking down signs, moving stalls, cleaning trash, etc. Volunteers must be able to lift heavy boxes.
