The Komen Massachusetts MORE THAN PINK Walk is made possible by an amazing team of volunteers who help make this event a success. Our event day volunteers are individuals who are passionate about the fight against breast cancer and want to lend a hand on Saturday, October 26 at North Point Park in Cambridge to make the Walk run smoothly from start to finish. There are many ways to get involved at this year’s Walk and ensuring it’s a day to remember! This Fall, community members will gather together to celebrate the strength and resilience of all people affected by breast cancer while also raising vital funds to help Susan G. Komen invest in groundbreaking breast cancer research AND provide real-time assistance to help with treatment, medication, transportation services, and so much more. Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the MORE THAN PINK Walk. From helping us Set Up the expo area to distributing water along the course, there are plenty of ways for individuals and groups to get involved! The Waco Community Pink Walk brings the Waco community together to share our stories, our laughter, and our commitment to raising funds to help end breast cancer-while we also celebrate survivors and those living with breast cancer and honor loved ones lost. We invite our supporters to join us by volunteering for an evening in the Cameron Park Zoo.
