Caring Hospice Services of Central Jersey is looking for friendly and outgoing volunteers willing to drive and make short visits to patient homes and facilities. You will be delivering holiday care packages, pillows, blankets, cards and other additional crafts.
We have patients that reside within Union, Middlesex and Ocean counties.
We are looking for volunteers to make deliveries 1-2x a month.
No previous experience or healthcare background is required. We provide all the training you will need, and we will work around YOUR schedule!

Description
Many times caregivers and patients can experience feelings of isolation; either because they are so consumed with caring for their loved one, or because friends and family may find it difficult to be around someone facing a terminal illness. Trained Hospice volunteers can offer emotional support to both the caregiver and the patient throughout this difficult time.
Our program includes volunteers in both a patient care and in an administrative setting.
No previous experience is necessary. We provide all the training you need and we will work around YOUR schedule.
