Marin Community Clinics is hosting their Golf Tournament on September 9 at the Meadow Club in Fairfax. With your support, this event will benefit local families in need.
To ensure the success of this event we need volunteers to help with registration, contest spotting, raffle & mulligan sales, and more.
You may be surprised to learn that in Marin County, known as much for its affluence as for its beautiful landscape, approximately 20% of residents live in poverty. In an area with such a high cost of living, trying to keep up with costs of housing, food and other basic needs is challenging for many, and nearly impossible for those with low incomes. At locations throughout the County, Marin Community Clinics serves about 1 in 5 Marin residents with comprehensive health care services. Their doors are open to anyone in need and your contribution will ensure this service never goes away.
Marin Community Clinics is the "health home" for almost 40,000 Marin residents who are uninsured or who qualify for Medi-Cal or Medicare programs. The Clinics are there to make sure that anyone can receive excellent, compassionate health care, regardless of their income level or ability to pay. Many of the people who turn to Marin Community Clinics for health care are people we encounter daily - preparing and serving our food in restaurants, providing care for our children, tending our homes and gardens, and operating small businesses that serve our community.

Founded in 1972, Marin Community Clinics (MCC) is a full service community health center, offering a wide array of services, including primary medical care, dentistry, behavioral health, and several specialty services. With almost 40,000 patients of all ages, the Clinics provides high-quality health care services to 1 in 5 Marin residents. Our mission is to promote health and wellness through excellent, compassionate care for all.
MCC, a patient centered medical home, is recognized at the highest level by the National Committee on Quality Assurance, serving low-income and underinsured individuals. As a leading Federally Qualified Health Center nationwide, the Clinics is committed to providing equal access to high quality, culturally sensitive, integrated healthcare services.
Marin Community Clinics does not stop with basic health care; we have a full range of support services. Our staff are trained in trauma informed care and annually receive trainings on a broad range of topics, including workplace diversity, patient privacy, ergonomics, and best practices for health care delivery. Our clinics utilize Care Navigators to assist patients in finding and connecting to supportive community resources. Our Certified Enrollment Counselors prioritize checking eligibility criteria when patients are uninsured and assist them with enrollment. Our Complex Care team assist patients with complex needs to navigate systems of care.
