Karma Cat Zen Dog Rescue Society provides a temporary home to cats at our Milltown Adoption Center and is looking for volunteers for a variety of roles.

To keep things clean and our cats well cared for and loved, we schedule volunteers for morning and evening shifts to clean, scoop, feed, and love our cats. We have socializing shifts to make sure they stretch their legs and interact with our volunteers. We provide a group onboarding orientation and training for all roles.

Cleaning & Feeding

  • handle the cats with love & care
  • recognize the signs of illness and communicate promptly and effectively
  • work independently
  • have reliable transportation
  • be at least 18 years of age
  • feed the cats and clean out their units
  • Schedule options
    • Daily 8am-10:45am

Foster Parent

  • Can you provide a temporary home for a cat or litter of kittens?
  • Do you have a little extra love to share with an abandoned animal?
  • We are looking for new foster homes so we can rescue more animals or give the cats that we have at our Milltown Adoption Center a break and experience a "real" home.
  • We will arrange and pay for medical, food, litter, toys, and whatever else the kitties need.

The mission of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is to provide a safe and peaceful haven for homeless, abandoned or abused animals. We will help decrease the number of cats being destroyed in kill shelters through the work of our adoption, trap-neuter-return, and education programs.

The vision of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is a world where every companion animal is respected, fed, warm, happy, and not in danger of being killed because it is temporarily homeless.
