Our Treasurer will oversee the management and reporting of Community Pet Project's finances including reconciling bank statements and managing cash flow. The Treasurer will create and maintain systems for ensuring solvency. The Treasurer will have authority to sign checks and reimbursement expenses. The Treasurer will monitor credit card usage and adhere to existing petty cash policies. The Treasurer will be asked to prepare or facilitate the preparation of the annual budget as well as regularly monitor and compare the actual revenues and expenses incurred against such budget. The Treasurer will be asked to prepare reports to share with the Executive Director. The Treasurer will be responsible for completing, or ensuring the completions of, required financial reporting forms (including the IRS 990) in a timely manner and making these forms available for review. Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but we we can. We are looking for someone familiar with Quick Books.

Our goal is to keep the pets happy, healthy and with their owners and out of the county shelter. We accomplish these goals by working with local authorities and other organizations. We rely on fundraising and donations.
