SOFL

Special Olympics Florida athletes will compete in Area 6 Bowling on Saturday, August 13. Volunteers are needed to help with assisting athletes whilst bowling, set up/breakdown, score keeping, awards and more.

Volunteers will receive:

  • A FREE Special Olympics White T-Shirt
  • FREE Lunch
  • A record of community service hours

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Complete a Class B Volunteer Form
  • Bring a photo ID to the event
  • Volunteers under 15 MUST be accompanied by an adult
  • Attire: Shorts or pants (no jeans) and flat closed toe non-slip shoes

Description

Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
