Requirements

• Ability to communicate professionally, via telephone, electronically and in person, with both the general public and agency personnel
• Strong written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of routine office procedures
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines in a timely manner
• Ability to function as part of a team and work under limited direction/independently as directed/needed
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive or controversial subjects with tact, kindness and professionalism

Preferred

• Experience in virtual and remote teamwork
• Bilingual Spanish/English (Native speaker is desirable)
• Experience working with marketing development
• Experience working with older adults
• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least two years of work in public relations OR at least two years of work in a related field

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with members of the community
• Be an ambassador for Sourcewise and advocate for clients exemplifying great customer service
• Responds to inquiries from community members and other interested parties; when needed, recruit a knowledgeable spokesperson or information source to assist
• Accurately maintain and update records concerning all consumer information within various software systems
• Answer all incoming calls, complete follow-ups consistently and route calls to appropriate resources
• Provide accurate information and referrals via telephone and email in an efficient, timely and personalized manner
• Facilitate internal communications and promotion via call transfers and organization-wide initiatives
• Demonstrate knowledge of all company services
• Use internal databases to produce reports; analyze results and identify discrepancies to present to Director of South County
• Support the South County Leadership team with any new initiatives as needed
• Support Sourcewise Transit Service promoting service, completing intakes, scheduling and driving clients when needed
• Support Dignity at Home Fall Prevention program promoting service, completing assessments and providing education to eligible clients
• Other duties as assigned

Availability

Remote position, with in-office training. Regular work schedule Monday through Friday between 9-2 or based on business needs. Temporary part-time, 20 hours per week. Any schedule changes must be approved by the South County Director.

Reporting and Working Relationships

Report to the South County Director. Work closely with all South County staff. Work directly with other agency staff when project requires it and is approved by the Director of South County.
