Carpe Librum will be popping up at Mid City Dog Days ( on the sidewalk at 1415 14 th Street NW) for an exciting outdoor book sale on August 6th and 7th!
This is a great opportunity to spend a day supporting literacy and education in the DC public school system. We will need volunteers to help us pop up, check out, and pop down the tables and bookshelves for this extraordinary and energetic fundraising event.
Can you lend a hand?
- The first shift is from 9:30am - 11:00am helping to set up the tables and shelves.
- The second shift is from 4:00pm - 5:30pm helping to break down the tables and pack up books.
Whether you have all day or just a few hours, we would love to have you come help out!
Contact Cassidy at cbins@turningthepage.org for more information.
(By the way, we’re not just any bookstore: we’re a fundraising bookstore! Carpe Librum collects donated books, CDs, and DVDs to support the DC nonprofit Turning the Page.)
