We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director volunteer to devise and execute a plan to expand our Foster network within Los Angeles. In order to save more dogs, we’ll need to scale up our foster base and we’d need your talents to scale our current Foster Program from start to finish.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the conceptualization, design and execution of marketing for the Foster Program and work to grow our base of support throughout the Los Angeles area.

• Reviewing and revamping the Foster Program
• Scaling the Foster Program with existing or new marketing grants and partnerships
• Innovate, create, and collaborate to shape and maintain effectiveness, outreach efficiency and foster retention
• Lead to partner with internal/external resources to develop and execute integrated marketing programs that ensure consistency, growth, and relevance across the organization.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of your executed marketing campaign.
• Longevity with the team and looking for ways to improve current processes or introduce new approaches that will contribute to success.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Strong expertise in Marketing and Operations
• Experience building and delivering impactful marketing campaigns and retention best practices.
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
• Knowledge and familiarity with a range of animal welfare issues and a comfort level promoting our ideals.
• Ability and desire to roll up your sleeves and execute, while also seeing the broader vision of the organization
• Interest and passion in animal welfare

About Paws of L.A. Rescue

Paws of L.A. Rescue does not have a physical location. We rely on foster families who open their homes to give love and attention to each dog while the dog waits for a forever home. In addition, we will occasionally partner with wonderful board & train facilities who care for our rescue dogs.

Through the foster program and our partners, we take the extra time to learn about each dog and what they truly need. These dogs have been through a lot and it may take days or weeks to allow their personality to completely unfold.

We strive to provide as many details as possible to potential and future adopters which increases the likelihood of a successful match. To date, none of the dogs of which we’ve adopted out, have been returned to us.
