ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Saint Anthony Falls volunteers support park rangers and their interpretation of the site. There are two shifts open per day 7 days/week. Shifts are 5 hours each with the first starting at 9:00 a.m. and the second starting at 11:00 a.m. Duties will include answering visitor questions about the park and the site itself, swearing in junior rangers, monitoring the visitor services station/table while rangers give tours, be stationed on the lock wall to be available to visitors, and help set-up and take down interpretive support materials. There is a mandatory 2 hour training to volunteer at Upper Saint Anthony Falls; we will work with you to determine a time! Volunteers with previous experience working in the park are preferred but experience is not required. Visitor Center Assistants would be able to select dates that work for them.

The visitor center is expected to be open Memorial Day weekend through the end of September. For summer, the visitor center is expected to be open 7 days per week.
